Harry Cantellow
Chiropractor (NetworkSpinal)
MY STORY:
Harry completed his masters & graduated as a Chiropractor from the AECC in Bournemouth after a 2 year masters program, where he specialises and practices the advanced Chiropractic approach known as Network Spinal.
NetworkSpinal is a research-supported, powerful chiropractic approach used by thousands of chiropractors around the world since its beginnings 4 decades ago. Gentle, precise touch to the spine and pelvis (no big manipulations or cracking) facilitates an upgrade of the communication and energy efficiency of the spine and nervous-system, allowing it to re-organise from rigid fight, flight and freeze states of defence to greater bodily awareness, ease and more adaptability of the spine and nervous-system.
If you want to improve the way your phone or computer operates, you update and improve the software and operating system (i.e the nervous system and spine), the same is true of your body, health, symptoms and emotions. Hitting the on button harder or pressing ENTER with more force is not going to save your laptop from the frozen screen or slow operating system. Hence the more gentle, nervous system based approach.
When we perceive and react to any threatening stimulus, our body mind adopts a posture to promote safety, and shifts our physiology and perceptions accordingly. This is known as defence posture
If this posturing succeeds (i.e we survive the event):
-
Our body-mind learns that this is a successful survival strategy.
-
It develops anchors to this pattern of defense to keep it running “behind the scenes”. This tension pattern then runs the show.
-
Over time, as more tension and defense builds up, this leads to “adverse mechanical spinal cord tension”, AKA tension and stress on your spine, extremity joints, muscles, nervous system, health, and by extension, your life.
With Network Spinal, previously bound up tension & energy becomes liberated, integrated and available for healing yourself and participating more fully in life, no longer defined by illness or prior limitations and experiences. Instead, efficient impactful strategies support greater nervous system function.
